Sunday 22 May join me at Scrubs Lane car park at 5am to catch the joy of the early morning birdsong. This morning our first lesser whitethroats were seen, we will look for woodpeckers nesting, linnets, song thrush, common whitethroats, greenfinches, blackcap, chiffchaff, kestrel and all our regular birds plus keep our eyes out for surprise visitors. And just enjoy this pocket of wildlife & biodiversity in the early morning!

Discovered the beauty of Greatstone Beach at low tide this weekend. Sanderlings & turnstones running along the shoreline, curlews & bar tailed godwits further out in the mudflats. Just love this bit of #Kent coast!
Frosty sunrise at #wormwoodscrubs, such beautiful delicate ice crystals on old hogweed stems, sparkling in the sunlight like glitter.
